By downloading, installing, or using TapHum, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use TapHum. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
TapHum is a presence application that allows you to send a single tap to people you are connected with. The app provides push notifications, haptic feedback, and a visual history of taps exchanged between connections. TapHum is not a messaging, social media, or content-sharing platform.
To use TapHum, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.
You agree to use TapHum only for its intended purpose of sending presence signals to your personal connections. You may not use TapHum to harass, spam, or repeatedly send unwanted taps to someone who has asked you to stop. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the operation of the app or its servers.
Connections on TapHum require mutual consent. Both parties must agree to connect before taps can be exchanged. Either party may remove a connection at any time through the app's Settings, which will delete the connection and all associated taphum history for both users.
TapHum, including its name, logo, design, animations, and code, is the intellectual property of TapHum and its creators. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the app without written permission.
We strive to keep TapHum available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. We may also add, change, or remove features as the app evolves.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used to harm others. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
TapHum is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, if any.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of TapHum shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the state where TapHum operates.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
